Hey guys, I am about to put my new hood on and I am having some difficulties getting the washer nozzles and the plastic clips that hold the hoses in off.
Any tips on getting these out? The old hood is scrap so im not worried about damaging it at all, I just need to get them out so I can put them on my new hood. Any help is greatly appreciated as I'll be putting this on within the next 2 days.

slip jaw pliars.
Remove the hose, look at the nozzles.
Put the pliars in there and squeeze, then push through.
Or go to the dealer and buy 3 nozzle ones for $10 and replace them.

Hmm... I've tried the screwdriver and the pliers already. Maybe ill keep trying them to see if I can get them out.
Do the 3 pronged nozzles work good? Are they better than the stock ones?

A screwdriver won't do it easily, and can easily damage the nozzle. Slip jaw pliars is the way to do it. I've done this on 8 different vehicles in the Hyundai and Kia family now, and you get the pliars, open them to the wide position out of the narrow or wide slip, put it in there, squeeze hard, and push.
The squeezing pushes in the plastic flaps/flanges that hold it in place, then you push it through the hood.
The 3 way nozzles do a much better job. I've done this 8 times because I've shown others how good mine worked, and they wanted the same.

if you get the 3 way nozzles dont forget to break the end off a large sewing needle so you can use it to aim the nozzles. i relocated mine to the cowl due to my CF hood and didnt do that. felt like a total tool after i reread the DIY totally, lol.
I removed mine, got a set of nozzles off a cavalier that clip onto the wiper arms, and just extended the hoses to run up the wiper arms.
Nice clean looking hood, and hidden nozzles that spray across the windshield like a fan instead of at it, and soaking the car at the same time.
