But with an extremely HOT turbo manifold, yes, you would have to be somewhat careful for example... You wouldn't run a hot engine through a car wash with a hood vent opening right over the exhaust manifold...the large ammounts of water allowed through the vent onto a hot turbo manifold could crack/shatter it. |

But if I am just running the stock IM I should be ok, correct, with myself trying to stay N/A then going NOS later on, I should be ok if I do the EVO hood.

When I go to a "do it yourself" car wash, I just put a piece of cardboard under the hood where the vents are. That prevents water from hitting the turbo manifold. Just don't leave it in there! eek.gif |
