Default "Universal Z3 Fender Inserts"

"Universal Z3 Fender Inserts" I ran into a set of these on the net and they looked cool, I want to buy them. The body shop that I am getting my fender+bumper refitted+painted at said they will not quote me on anything custom because they can't guarantee what kind of problems they will run into. His main concern was that the inserts may have to be modified because of the curvature in our fenders. Has anyone ever had any experience with molding scoops and things into their oem parts? Ballpark price? and do you guys think that they will have to be modified because of the curves in the fender?
oh yeah, and before anyone asks..i am not going to buy the replacement ones that Rick is selling because I don't like the widebody style...don't criticise me for that if you think im wrong, keep it on topic.
thanks

i think breck was going to do it, he bought them and everything cuz he had a hookup somewhere so it wouldnt be too spendy. then when he brought it in to have it done, there was some kind of problem i think. All i know is he didnt end up getting them. Id ask him tho to clarify that

Well, to get the piece molded, and then get basically most of the front sides repainted and b lended, its going to run probably $300 a side.

I never liked it when body shops say they won't quote a price..they're basically saying that whatever they feel like charging after the work is done is what they're gonna charge you..just my 2 cents..they could've at least given you a rough estimate...
