What other old skool mods do you all remember that people used to put on their cars? Anyone remember these also?

single wiper mod, lowered/customized CRXs, being able to see several mini trucks with switches on any given weekend cruising downtown, underbody neons, welding a 4" exhaust tip on your factory exhaust

I actually still have GTS covers for my Mustang. I used to stick the headlight covers on at car meets and drive with the rears on. All of my other lights were spray tinted. I just recently went to all clear lenses though, except the tails.

 

I had the led valve stems also lol. Along with those, led washer nozzles and a neon license plate frame. laughathim.gif

 

I like the neon license plate. I think its tasteful when you have one that changes from white normally to red when you put on the brakes. It's functional and fashionable.

 

I still see those lense covers all over the place!, Canadian Tire still sells them i think!?

 

I had the GTO lense covers on my 96 Accent GT. Of course that was in the late 90's. The pic is floating around here.

 

anybody remember CF IceMan side view mirrors? they are the same ones on the rally car. i remember their Norwegian or Swedish website offering legit CF rally mirrors for Tiburons. that was back in like 1999 man.
