Rear Window Washer
You would probably snap off the retainer if you tried to pry it off of the hatch.
Honestly though, I do not have the rear wiper/washer and I do not miss it. On the go no water sticks around on the glass and the defroster generally takes care of anything else that might be on it...

I had a similer problem with the front nozzles, except it was the wiring, during the cold one day (idk how) the cables fleading the water went between my hood and the whiper cowl, it froze over night and i had to change them cuz they were permantently frozen. check that.
rear defroster is a must... that is certain. But as I said, I have found that I do not need the rear wiper on my tib.. the airflow alone over the car keeps 90% of the junk off of the rear window.. the defroster takes care of the rest.

Wow I always thought that was actually how it was supposed to be. Hmm I guess Ill be cleaning mine out a little later.
So did I dude. I mean it's not like there's no force behind it at all but it's not as powerful as the front ones. Mine's clean as hell, and it still doesn't squirt out mad hard. I would think you'd want it to be kinda low pressure tho so that the blue sh*t doesn't get all over ur car.... It stains in, doesn't just flow off ur car, & im a freak.
I don't expect the rear washer to spray like the front, but that tiny trickle just doesn't cut it.
And I love having a rear wiper. The defrost melts and the wiper cleans it away.

Intresting you mention that, ive actualy tested it out, with about 2-3" of snow on my rear hatch i sped up to around 65mph, at that point it made a nice V shape on my backwindow, it left alot of snow in the middle though, and going up to 100MPH, didnt help, it still stayed on there, the vary center of the windshield ended up with about a foot width of snow in the widest spot, and about 6" near the bottom. Defroster is a definate yes and the one in my Tib works realy great.

I love mine. I will never buy a car without a rear defroster and wiper combo.
Holy crap I know. Drove my sister's Sunfire the other day. Horrible drives me crazy.
Anyway My front washers didn't work for a while cause when the hood closed in pinched it. Do the cleaning tricks suggested above and follow the line back through the car a bit to make sure it's not pinched or anything like that.
