Rear badging on the Accent - Opinions?

Okay, I've been working on tinting the Accent's tails, side markers, and badges. The car is now mostly debadged so I'm looking for input on how to proceed.

Being tinted

Used Carmex to try to mask spots that were giving me trouble. Don't ever do that. It was a huge epic fail requiring me to strip off the badging and buff out all of my tinted paint.

Nite shade and clear coated tails. Polished vs. as sprayed. I didn't want to go too dark but they're darker than they appear here with the flash.

Make and model debadged rear.

Big oval where H was so I don't want to be fully debadged.

The stripped, prepped, tinted, and clear coated emblems. They still need polished if I'm going to put them on.

So, what do you think would look best?

I say debadge everything, but I like the clean look. If you think you can do it yourself, shave the emblem and smooth it over with fiberglass & bondo, then spray it with paint.

Thats what I did:

I like the clean look too, and that's what I'm doing to the Tib. The problem is that the location is difficult (although not impossible and not beyond my ability) to fill in because it's so close to the spoiler and plastic hatch garnish. I would have to remove both to do it right.

Also, the rear end on the Accent is not clean looking. Even debadged unless I pull the garnish and weld in a sheet metal panel and install an actuator to open the hatch where the license plate is currently it will still not look clean.

Polished and installed the H emblem. The adhesive has to cure for 30 minutes before removing the masking tape. I'll take pics then.

Sweet!

Still not sure whether I'm gonna pull the evil smiley and GT badge yet. Opinions?

i didnt see your last post with everything back on. but i think the evil smiley should be pulled. it looks kind of weird there but thats just my opinion. if you like it keep it. i do think the gt looks nice though

Yeah, I'm leaning towards pulling the smiley and GT badging. I think it'll look pretty good that way. I'm mostly sad to see the smiley go, it's been on there for a long time.
