Question for you guys. For those of you who have totally repainted your car, do the majority of you guys do the FULL paint job (under the hood), or do you get the cheaper style paint job? Do you go to shows with it? Do they deduct points for it being one color on the outside and another color under the hood? Let me know what you guys think. I'd like to get the car totally repainted a candy red (its the stock cardinal red now), but I'm not exactly sure if I should go the cheap route, or the $3k route. Let me know your thoughts.

 

Your going to get points deducted for that. How much depends on the show. Since your car is red already, it may not be as noticable if I say, painted my car candy red since my car is silver.

I got quoted 1800 to paint everything but the firewall.
