Looks nice. So what are you going to do next?

Hootie 10-15-2001 04:44 PM

1. Lower that puppy. :D

2. Looks sweet.

3. Front is a little busy for my particular tastes with the Z-Fenders and Zefiro Hood but the white does the whole car justice.

4. I wonder how it would look in Cobalt Blue?

SickYellowG60 10-15-2001 04:53 PM

You know, your gorilla fender isn't that noticeable. With the way you had the light the slits almost looked like it didn't exist. You might want to think about doing something to show it off. Maybe have some sticker go where the slits are to show that you have slits. Other then that it looks really mean. It no longer looks like a tibby.

Slipstream 10-15-2001 05:03 PM

Simply put....It works.

Hootie 10-15-2001 05:29 PM

Did you have the side skirts molded in? I don't see any seams there where the skirt meets the metal. The body shop did a killer job.

Guilty 10-15-2001 05:32 PM

Hey Random the car looks sweet man! :D BTW why is the interior out of the car for? You getting it redone or something.

JAWS 021 10-15-2001 05:34 PM

best tibby in LA ill tell you that

The Z-Shark Fenders required quite a bit of "modification" to fit. I guess Boogyman just found out the mould they were using was warped. Oh well.

I also now have sidemarkers installed in the "holes" in the fenders.

The slits are going to be cut out more, and they will be "lit" at night (where legal). When I go for graphics or custom paint, the gills will get something to bring them out.

nice,... thinking about sticking a tube in there???

Etep 10-15-2001 06:54 PM

Real nice!
Gotta love the hood and how you have the skirts "molded in".
For some reason, the front bumper of the Zefiro kit reminds me of the Prelude. Still nice!

Hootie 10-15-2001 08:28 PM

Someone photochop that puppy in Cobalt Blue with some AV-7s in Gunmetal.. :D

Turboman1 10-15-2001 09:02 PM

P E R F E C T ! ! !
:D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Iago 10-15-2001 11:26 PM

Holy Christmas Bonus, Batman! Are you doing drug deals on the side to fund all that? So much for that sleeper look you were sporting.

And so long as I'm exposing my jealousy through smarmy comments...what's up with you California boys and your snow-white cars and rims? You and Bradley both. wink.gif

Honestly, that's beautiful, Random. There's no other way to say it. Lighting the slits will be a VERY nice touch, as well. All in all, madd props. And it's also nice to know that you've got the beef beneath the hood to match the look.

DESIGN 10-15-2001 11:49 PM

She's a work of art!! eek.gif

Random, what makes it realy cool is that you have the power to back up those looks. Great job!!

Xorro 10-16-2001 01:42 AM

Props smile.gif (see post on FXtreme)

Random - I swear you've been reading my mind! You are not allowed to put tubes in the fenders, I'm waiting for the new mold on the fenders at the moment.

BTW, how did you open up the gills?

JAWS 021 10-16-2001 01:58 AM

ive been thinking about the same thing (Tubes)
i found some small 4 inch tubes that would look PERFECT IN THERE,... not too much light but enough
Random for the 5,000 time
nice,.... real nice

Random 10-16-2001 03:59 AM

The body shop cut them open prior to painting. They need to be re-cut though, they are not very even and are not open enough. When I go back to have the handles shaved, and the trunk shaved, and some "other" things added...they will be fixed then.

:: skilspeed :: 10-16-2001 03:59 AM

DAMN YOU RANDOM! Yes..I'm yelling wink.gif Gem Mint 10!! That's all I gotta say.

Trampus 10-16-2001 08:06 AM

I couldn't help but notice the WRX in the background. Damn I love that car. It will be my next one hopefully.

Julez 10-16-2001 09:36 AM

Random you da man!

I still say those white tibs are tough to beat for looks.

How much did it cost to get those skirts molded?

yellowrally a.k.a tiburonelite 10-16-2001 11:48 AM

Nice still needs some work but coming out nice so far can't wait to see the interior/system if you are doing one when its done.

plugboy 10-16-2001 12:58 PM

Boy that took forever to load and save all those pix. The car looks good Random. I tell ya, great minds think alike, cause I have the same rims and thats the hood I've been buggin about for the 2000-1 Tibs. Your car is SOLID bro! Cant wait to put my kit on soon too :D :D

SPIKE 10-16-2001 02:43 PM

Hey Random it looks really fu***ng awesome man I hope this little project that I am planning on doing to my new one looks as good as that

TibRacer 10-17-2001 02:41 AM

Random,

Good work on the Tib! What kind of side marker lights are those? What kind of mod are those "vents" on the back part of the car? Did you have those put in, plus additional skirts from a kit added? I can't tell. When I got my Z-shark fenders there was little trouble fitting them, it was the condition they came in with all the cracking and chips that made a lot of work. But now that they're on my carand totally fixed up they look great!

The sidemarkers come from www.hella.com. They are $64 bucks, but you get 4 of them, so split the cost with a buddy. Their North American Distributor is www.puma-access.com They do not have the side markers on their site, but you cannot order from their site anyway, just call their 1-800 number and order them.

The front bumper, sideskirts and rear bumper are the Zefiro kit. So if you are talking about the "vents" behind the doors, that is the Zefiro side skirts. If you are talking about the vent in the back...that is the Zefiro rear bumper section.
