Not pleased with washer lights

Well, I am not happy at all. First of all, I got my door dinged yesterday. And now this!

I just washed my car. My sounge brushed across a washer light and the damn thing broke right off. Right along the bolt. I checked the other one...a slight tug, hardly worthy of a single f/lbs, and it broke off as well, right along the bolt. These things were obviously just waiting for a light bump to break. I cannot belive this happened. I don't have the originals anymore. Are these things that cheap? What am I to do?

I tried...maybe its the glue...but every time I tried (ever so gently) to screw them back, they kept braking. Right now, I have peices of spounge pushing on the them from below to keep them from being loon on the hood. Until I can figure something else out. But they really shouldn't be braking this easily...

What brand did you get? I had Eurolite(Toucan ind.) washer lights on my Accent and they were the best I had seen. I looked at 4-5 different brands before I got them. I got them for $19.95. You could see they for atleast a mile down the road smile.gif

Ironically enough, I bought the ones Shark Racing sold. Thus the reason why I am complaining here...
