new spoiler and antenae
 

This weekend I went outside to see that a canopy in my front yard had blown over into my 2k tib :mad: The end of my rear spoiler was broken off, my antenae was bent, and I had a teacup sized dent on the roof above my window. The spoiler alone is going to cost about 500 bucks, painted and installed. Does anyone have a good aftermarket spoiler that would go on just as good? Any pictures that you have would be cool. Also, has anyone gotten a replacement antenae? I think I just want to shave my antenae and get a hidden one inside the car. Thanks for any help.

why not replace your spoiler with the ATH style spoiler, love that one on the the red 2Gen. Replace the Antenna with a power one. There pretty inexpensive.

sounds like a perfect opportunity to shave the antenna altogether... that would look pretty sweet :D

What's the ATH style spoiler? Where can I find a picture of it? I was thinking about a power antenae. Shaving it would look pretty sweet cause it's off now and it looks cool even with the mount on it.

You can find a pic at shark racing, its part of the ATH kit you can buy. I believe it cost $220.

If your looking for a stock spoiler I would let mine go for $100. It's cobalt blue but I don't need it any more.

-1FSTSHRK, I am going to look into buying an aftermarket spoiler, but if I can't find anything I want, I will write you about yours. $100 sounds like a sweet deal.

Here's a site you might want to scope out as well. I got my Kombat Spoiler from them for $150. www.factoryspoilers.com They have some pretty descent things. wink.gif

For the Antenna, HDK (Ughhhgh) has a factory power one, but if I were you, I'd just go to Pep boys, and pick up a universal one, and jerry rig it to work. Up here in Canada, I know someone who's taken a Canadian Tire Universal Power Antenna and it fits perfectly on the Tib. I've been meaning to do it, just haven't had time yet.

I just removed my antenna....I hope to have it shaved someday. I know what you mean about the once you remove it, you dont want to put it back. More power to the Jazz Orange.
