I did a retrofit with some s2000 hid projectors, and the difference is ridiculous. I thought i'd share it here since i originally posted on hidplanet. I recently painted the bezels black to get a different look. Let me know what you think!

Well I think that's pretty spiffy. How many tries did it take to get them set close enough to straight for proper alignment? And how much did it all cost you?

So what difference does it make? You switched from projectors to projectors... I have HID's in my stock projectors and they're just as bright as yours.

^^word on that. I do not see any advantage except that you painted your bezels black in a course of action.

Yeah, I've looked at this a few times trying to figure out what you did besides painting. You say there is a huge difference, and I just don't see it either.

Why wouldn't yuou just try to do dual projectors?

How is it a "retrofit" if you put in what you took out?

Glad you did something new, but I'm not feeling any difference.

there really is a big difference in intensity, width and there is also even spread on hid projectors. putting a kit bulb in halogen projectors will not even be close to hid projectors. hid projectors are designed for hid bulbs, the focal point is different on each, which can cause uneven intensity and additional glare when used on halogen projectors.
