Mr. Clean Auto Dry Car Wash System
It's water conditioner that softens the water. I've been using Jet Dry with an old hose attached fertilizer sprayer for years to rinse my car with. Rinse the car, go about 60 mph for 1/2 miles........ wipe the little spots off. Jet dry doesn't soften the water, it somehow breaks the sruface tension so it sheet off. I've used the Mr. Clean system and for the most part it does work, but dayum.....it gets expensive. I used it on my black Tib. You'll want to make sure it dries in the shade cause it will still spot a little in the sun. Either method you use, your water quality will also effect how they work.
Anyhow, not counting the drive around the block, drying my car takes me about 4 minutes. Just use about a teaspoon of Jet-Dry in your resevoir and fill the rest with water. If steaking is worse, cut back on Jet-Dry.

Ugh, why would you do that when you still have to dry spots on the car?
Get this system and you never have to dry your car.
At all.

Drying the spots really isn't that big of a deal, like I said it takes me maybe four minutes to dry my car, and that includes wiping out the door frames and hatch. Basically you wipe down the windows, the hatch and the upper part of the hood near the windshield.
Depending on where you live and your water quality, you may or may not get good results with this thing.....or even worse, you'll have to buy expensive soap and filters all the time. We have decent water quality in Salem and I still got streaks when I used it and let my car dry in the sun. Just keep in mind this thing is good, but your water quality, or more importantly, your water hardness determines how effective this thing will work.

Nope, I live in Albuquerque NM mang, home of the hardest water in the west. I get the same results. They even guarantee you won't see a spot or your money back. The soap and filter's aren't that expensive, and you get like 10 to 15 washes out of each set. Much better than going to one of the pro car washe's around here.
The filters determine how good it will work, not your water, 100% dirty water goes in and still comes out perfectly clean, 80% goes in and it still comes out the same.
Go dry your car, I'm gonna play some Xbox while mine dries it'self.

Nope, not impressed at all.
One of my co-workers used to be a detailer, he hooked me up w/ some stuff.
Last time i washed my tib, i went over every part 3 times (wash and rinse) and keep in mind this is a PROFESSIONAL Wash/Wax. i bought a gallon of the stuff and only have to used a Quarter to Half dollar sized DROP of soap. (do the math, my $30 dollar gallon of Wash/wax will last more than 2 years washing my car once a week) My car looked better after that than the last time i hand waxed and polished it.
Yeah, i have to dry my car too, but so what???? (BTW i wash my car at work in VA.......so my car dries on my way home in MD, 75-85mph will do that just as well, if not better than hand drying it)
REDZ, how do you have time to play Xbox with all the whoring you do here??????? ;-)

Filters can only do so much.....also, your water determines how long the filter lasts. Like I said, it's a pretty good gadget, but I can pull myself away from the Xbox long enough to dry a few spots on my car.
Anyhow, washing my car(s) is an event for me which I enjoy. It's always more than just a wash. It's a wash and dry, wipe out the doors, hatch, hood......hit the engine with some cleaner, vacuum the interior, wipe the interior down, get a brush and dust the cracks, clean the windows, treat the leather, etc.....

I enjoy washing my car, tons. I do all of the same stuff.
Now I'm just not wearing or swirling my paint anymore by drying it.
LOL
