I say leave it to a bodyshop so it comes out nice and smooth.

 

DOn't touch it. But the lips look cool. Thats mostly the reason people buy that kit is cause it don't have a grill. But its your kit. In the photo shop its looks more like a ford focus zx.

 

Really,the easiest thing would be to leave the grille out, and just remove the support bar. Then I'd get rid of those damn narrow cutouts below the larger ones.It'd look waaay better without.

 

I'm guessing that you did the photochop of the grill from the original Tib grill.

If you don't mind cutting up your original bummper, or get a scrap one. Anyway, cut out the grill insert from the original bummper and cut a corisponding hole in he bodykit to fit in new grill. Use fiberglass and Bondo to smooth things out and if all goes right, voila instant grill transformation. lol

I don't know that that would work. Or how hard it would be, but my 2 cents.
