Was looking at how ARK has the short billet antennas for 3rd gens and am wondering if anyone knows where we can get a shorter, fatter lil antenna like that. I want one for my 2nd gen so bad, i hate the long floppy antenna lol.

Just get Sirius or XM radio and then take the stock antenna off laugh.gif . Or get ahold of Ark and see if they have any plans on making one for our cars.

I got a short rubber antenna from Pep Boys. It is about a 12 inch antenna but it looks a lot better.

Ark IS making us a short billit antenna, go to the Ark forum and there's a thread for RD products. ETE = Dec. 23rd I think. Along with catback exhaust, and other stuff.

Short Billet antennas suck, as you don't get SHIT for reception.

If you want a short antenna, get a POWER antenna.

That's what I've got.

And you know what? I get PERFECT reception, even if the antenna is down.

Yeah, I got one too and have had no problems with it, and with the H/U I had it would go down when you weren't listening to the radio, like if you were listening to a CD. Power Antenna's rock.

Serously, I have a power antenna installed as well... had to redrill the stock plastic mount to make it fit properly. It looked great when it worked... unfortunatly when I had my airbag and gage light problems.. the idiots at the dealership burned it out so I have to raise or lower it manually.. which is ok, I rarely listen to radio.. I prefer CDs
