Yeah it would, most car shows are that way. Ive seen alot of showcars with just a few boltons but excessive rice and they still win.

Anyways, Id like to see how many people get bloody noses cause they didnt know the door comes up, thatd be quite funny until they bleed all over your car.

Anyways, showcars are getting more and more non-ricier now(for honda anyways, there are tons of awsome JDM Hondas no adays).

 

There is a lot more to having a show car then a plastic trophy. If you think about it, isn't just about every exterior upgrade you do to your car rice? Rims (unless lighter then stock), Bodykit (other then veilside)? They don't do anything for performance.

Its not just about a trophy.....(and not to sound like the F&F) its about respect for me. Its hard enough gaining the respect of your peers when you drive a Hyundai let alone dealing with everyone saying what you've done to your car is rice. If you don't have a show quality car then you have no idea how much work it takes to keep it clean enough for shows. I drive my car everyday and show it during the show season. I rarely post because over the last few years there is all this bs about what is rice and not rice and it disgusts me. I love all cars wether its a old hot rod, an import, a drift style car, a showcar, or stock cars. Either way the import scene is about the love for cars not what is rice or not so quit your crying about rice.

If you like it then put it on..some will like and some will hate it..as long as you like it thats all that matters.

I agree 100%! I am a car enthusiast in general, not just for hyundais. I am a bit excessive when it comes to my car, but in the show world you have to strive to be different and innovative, even if it means some people won't like what you're doing to your car. Most of the stuff I put on my car serves no purpose and is a waste of money, including the lambo doors, but this is what I love to do.

 

please tell me why this is even a subject to fuss about, this is a forum for people who all are interested in hyundai cars, y cant we all just give constructive critisism and tell everyone posting pics or asking questions what is good about their cars instead of down grading them, and saying (o um yr cars rice and a piece of shit, have the mother f***ers up here have stock cars in th first place, and they have the nerve to talk shit about someone elses. all im trying to say is cant we all just get along.lol The end

I get complimented on it all the time. As far as bloody noses... You must have NEVER opened lambo doors in your life... You are more likely to run someone over, then to hit them with your door... thats just plain idiotic.

Say what you want.. you do get points for it at shows... and they do impress...
