Default Hmm...tire tread stripe over car?

So, I was considering adding a single vinyl tread mark over my Accent.

It would look something like this, offset to the driver's side to align with the edge of my grille:

But on this:

I dont know how I feel about it. I dont think it would look that great. If you wanted a stripe, I would go for maybe a double eurpean style racing stripe down the car (off set), but maybe either a lighter or a little darker shade of red.

It'll stand out, but just enough to look classy I think.

Or, if you think you can do it yourself, paint on ghost stripes:

I prefer ghost stripes. Like what I had on my '96 Elantra:

You can barely see them, to the right of the left tail light.
