I was wondering if any one has tried to put HIDs in the stock headlights? because i was thinking about trying to rig up some on my 01 tibby thanks

I'm sure this has been discussed b4 (I can't remember which topic).
Have a look around. |
Tibbygirl has them in her 1st Gen.
We can get them for you at Kspec.com |
Tibbygirl??? EXCUSE ME???? its TibbyCHICK lol lol.gif
yeah theyre def. worth the money, and very very very very very easy to install. You can get any brand, so long as they will fit your headlight bulb. not sure what the 01 tib takes, but I know mine takes a 9006. And Im pretty sure the lower the temp, the brighter they are...I have 6000k and theyre blueish...and i like em. |
TibbyChick,... where and how much did you get them for?
|
She got them from SR/TSR/Evo f***up.
LOL |
well a friend of mine knows some one that works at silvana or something like that and he can get me the the kit for $100 so i might do that
|
HOLY SHIT $100 for HIDS........for that price i'd do both the hi and low beams.....although i've heard that w/ properly aimed HID lowbeams you really don't need high beams...
but i'd do it just for the f*** of it, especially at that price..... f***, i'd even do the stock fogs......but mine tib didn't come w/ them. |
Redz there is no need to go to KSPEC to get a HID kit when there are companies here in the US that surpass the ones in Korea (I asked David when I was there about it) and he said about the same thing.
IF the kit doesn't include philips/osram parts I wouldn't buy it, the kits on ebay are garbage (I had a partial sponsership with one of them on the GK) so get a quality kit and install it properly and it will be all good. OR get a car with HID factory like me wink.gif |
Sure there is a need, folks want them, we can and have sold them. If they want them from us, we will sell them.
They aren't on the site anymore because there are comparable kits in the US and such. Plus, you know many folks like to stay KDM. |
