Re: Turbo mods

Alright well i dont know how to explain this but....

I bought a grill mesh a little while ago, and i want to put it on now, but the usual things that u would put it on an clip are gone (at the time i had no use for them) so i now have nothing to attach it too. I have the 2000 SE, so i want to do the front gril and the to to smaller back ones. If anyone has any good ideas on how to do this let me know. Hopefully it will be simple laugh.gif

Re: Funny Dog

ok, thats easy.

HOT GLUE

Cut the grills to shape, and make sure you keep a bit more around the edges..but not in the corners.

glue some thin guage bare wire on all four sides of the BUMPER. (*on the inside and make sure that they are not visible, of course)

place your grills on, bend the edges, tie the wire onto the grills and then use a bit more glue to make sure that the wire doesn't come undone. A glue gun shouldn't cost more that 20 bucks tops......

I suppose you could also use something like liquid nail (available at your local hardware store.....you'll also need a caulk gun) but that will probably take much longer to tack up. at least 24 hours....prob 48 just to be safe, and may not be safe for use on our FRP bumpers, but im not sure......read a tube of it carefully before going that route if you do.

If that DIY doesn't work for you just use what you can. I'm sure some sort of glue will work for it. Just make sure it's on there good.

**EDIT**

Never mind I missed the boat.
