hey whats up i was hanging out at this parts place i go to and they guy showed me that he had one set of green hid's.... i didn't believe that they could make em at first, i thought he was trying to sell me a cheap kit that had turned green. after seeing them lit up, i was sold. i got the only ones he had, 9005's, i put them in but haven't seen them during night yet. i hope they look as good as they do in the day. i'll post up some pics of the day and then i will post night pics tonight after i get to drive around with them for a while

are you sure they are real hids?

did you just have to swap out a bulb or was there other stuff involved in installation?

40 bucks for just the bulbs, 80 if you want ballasts too. (if you already have an existing 35w hid kit then you don't really NEED to buy the ballasts too, unless your going to get this kit for your highs)

if anyone wants them i can go buy them and send em to you

eww.. and you will get pulled over pretty quick..

the light output on those is probably shit compared to an actual set of HIDs with the tint..

they are probably just painted bulbs, you can make HIDS any color you want by getting colored bulbs, but the light output will be drastically lower.

misewell just get halogen.

socks they aren't painted bulbs, and the light output is still really high.

light output may be high, but for performance, whiter = better.

White light will bounce off the dark roads at night, providing the best visibility. As you get away from white on the color (and kelvin) spectrum, the light gets 'absorbed' by the road and doesn't bounce as well, hence less visibility.

And if my memory serves me correctly, green is one of the most absorbent colors on the spetrum. It is right in the middle and reaches farther than all the other colors, this is why plants are green, so during photosynthesis they may absorb the most sunlight possible. So in theory green is the worst possible color for headlights slomo.gif

Good luck with those fing02.gif
