As the title says, I've been involved into an accident this winter an need your opinion on what would be the better thing to do.
Basically, my frame is a little bit crooked an my bumber doesn't look very good.
I got a quote from 2 different body shop: first one told me 1500 to straighten the frame and a new bumper. The second told me 1200.
I can't put that much money on my car so now i'm trying to find cheaper ways to make it look better.I have some pictures to show you the damages:

I hope you can help me!

That looks VERY minor. I cant see how the frame would be bent over something that low of damage. Basically, its more cosmetic. Are you sure they werent talking about the radiator support? I could maybe see that being bent a little, but definitely not the frame.
Do you want an OEM bumper or aftermarket? You could probably find an OEM from Rock Auto, a jumkyard, or a forum member pretty cheap. Painting it to match would only cost about $200-300. Can you get pics from underneath to show the "frame damage?" What about with the hood up? That might help us steer you in the right direction a little more.

well, i don't know why my car as so little apparent damages because the impact kind of hard...i hitted the front driver's wheel of a saturn that was going like 50 km/h, when i was at a stop. So i found logical that the frame got bent by the side impact. I'll get pics from underneath and with the hood opened tomorrow because i have to go to work now^^
Thanks for the quick answer!!

I can't see the pictures, but from the price, I'm guestimating that they will be dropping the bumper cover, hitting it with a hammer, then painting a new bumper cover and slapping that sucker on. That's $1200 worth of work.

QUOTE
IS the hood mounts bent? looks like the hood is pushed to the side. Have you taken your front bumper off and looked for yourself at the damage?
i don't think that the hoods mount are bent because the hood hasn't been hit in the accident. I think that the hood is straight and the bumber is pushed to the driver side, so the hood looks crooked. Also, i can put a finger between the driver side headlight and the piece of plastic in the middle of the headlight, wich mean taht my bumber cover is not at the right place...
I haven't taken my bumber off because i don't know how...i searched in the DIY but haven't found anything about that

It doesn't look too complicated to remove that cover...i may just buy a blue bumper from a junkyard and put that on. I think that's the best i can do with my budget! Thanks for the pic!

Your hood is off center either way. Look in your pictures at the left and right side of the hood. From fender to hood is not the same, You have no gap on the passenger side and like an inch on the driver side.

ya i already noticed that^^
but fixing that would mean that i have to work on the frame and i don't have money for that!
so, like i said, i'll just make it look a bit better by changing the bumper cover(I'll be picking it this week...i just found a blue one for 300$).
MAybe I'll try to fix that with a few hammer strikes like DTN said loll
