hey guys, I'm planning to install and/or modify some exterior bits for my car.... I have to admit, I'm heavily infuenced by the whole 'JDM look' (if there was ever such a thing) but my point is, I really like the look of touring car racers and such.

so this is my car now:





I want it to look somewhat like this.. sorry for the bad photoshop skills..



and the rims like these



any inputs??

 

rims look the same, but white? won't make much of a difference with the look. misewell just paint em.

and im guessing you want a CF hood?

im more of the dark rim, contrasting look personally.

i would keep the clear corners, and the red seats would probably look pretty cool if your going for the 'jdm' look.

 

well to me it looks like you want it to be a JDM ITR with CF hood.

keep the clears, get the hood and get some black rims with a red line around the edge and get the red seats.

 

ohh crap I forgot to undo those red seats! I didn't mean to post that pic. That was to see how my car would look on red bride seats because someone was giving me a very good deal on them.

yup, I'm planning to paint the rims white. I'm thinking of a contrasting color too, but I wanted something different other than what Rota was offering, and I think white on white looks sexy... IDK smile.gif

so how do I get it not to look like a honda? I still want the OEM CF hood though

 

ahhhh i hate that riceburner look. and you're right they do look like hondas. go with an exotic look man. something that hints ferrari or porsche, not 5zzzzzzzzzigen.

I love your rims though. don't change them, OR paint the center black to match your new hood

to each his own is what i say for everyone on this forum anymore, i try to not push my ideas onto anyone.

but then again, maybe a lip kit if you want to do ext. mods.

 

well, in my opinion it's not an exoctic, so why bother? one thing that bothers me is it looking like a honda though...
