Im sorry if this has been asked and answered before, but i couldn't find it searching, and ive checked where it says they SHOULD be on webtech.

I dont have very long to tinker on my car when im at work (where i keep all my tools), so id like to know if, no.1 ive got fog light wiring in my car, and no.2 where the hell would it be??.

ive got a 2001 tiburon.

Hmm, well do you have stock fog lights?

As far as I'm aware if your car is not equipped with stock fogs, then the wires for the lights are not there aswell.

This was asked recently. See the link below for the thread.

Stupid question because I haven't bothered pulling my dash off to look, but where's the wiring at behind the dash?

LoonWulf 02-14-2007 02:06 PM

Trance, no i didnt have stock fogs on my car. I bought some off of ebay, and right now just have them run to a rather lame button under my steering wheel. (which im sure sombody will see, and coment on in the next pictures i post lol.

Rallyman, thanks for the link. Im surprised that didnt come up in my search 02.gif
Ok that answers the question of generally where the wires should be, but are they both on one side or do i have to pull BOTH fenders?

Caj, the cluster of dead buttons to the left of your steering wheel, and above the rheostat for your interior lights are your fog light switch, and wiring are/should be. Ive got the wires there and just need to find them in my engine bay.

One behind each fender.

LoonWulf 02-14-2007 05:27 PM

Awesome thanks REDZ, that exactly what i needed to know to figgure out how long id have to have my car in the shop for laugh.gif

in the shop to add fogs? Generally, if you peel back the undertray and the fender liner plastic, you should be able to look inside the inner fenerwell/bumper to find the wires all ziptied up out of the way.

As for the internal wires, they should be attached to the blanks in the dash as if the switch was already there. Really should not take you more than an hour or so at the most

"in the shop" as in how long im gonna be taking up the shop at work lol. I get hassled if im in there for 2 long.

Thanks for the advise, that would be much easier then pulling the whole damn fender.
