well, I can tell you my Fiat used to run very rich due to a worn out carb... if I let her idle or even run at a low speed, I would foul the plugs. Once though, on a damp day, I let her warm up while sitting in front of a white car. When I pulled away to go to work, I noticed that I had left a HUGE black mark on the front of that car from unburned fuel... My neighbor was NOT happy with me, but thankfully it wiped right off.
