Me and a friend did this to his car. it cost us about $175. the parts we use were:

1 Spark plug
Coil Pack
very long spark plug wire
High Pressure Solinoid
electric fuel pump
Small metal gas tank (custom made)
Fuel lines
some switches(safety switch and a deadmans switch)
and some other stuff(cant remember but can find out)

It took 2 days to do because of JB weld on some things but we never had to cut the engine off to shot the flames. just reved it up to about 4500 RPMs and pushed a button and we would shot over a 20 ft flame out of the pipe. I hid all of the parts and stuff in the spare tire well. never had any problems. the flame also didnt fireball like alot of home made flame kits do. If you guys wanted i could get all the parts and things and procedures to let you know how to do this. Everything was controled from the drivers seat.

Besides the fact this is illegal.. just running a plug to the exhaust will not work on a car with cats.. Having the spark cut at the engine for a couple of seconds might not work either.. the cats DO run hot enough to ignite unburned fuel.. that is part of their job. Cutting the spark at the engine could melt them down with all the raw fuel.

That said.. I had a vdub that would spit flame naturally and my Fiat used to do it when downshifting.. you could hear it "pop pop pop" as would throw small balls of flame. VERY cool on a dark road at night as you could see the light from the exploding fuel.

Carbureted bikes w/ pipes do it too laugh.gif Pretty damn cool.. They dont even need something to ignite it, just get on the throttle hard, then let off..

the company you are talking about is called autoloc. i bought their kit ($125) and it was a waste. the intructions they gave me with said it needed to e a carburated engine and would to spend some more money on parts because they dont include all the parts needed mad.gif

That is illegal in Canada as well as in many states. Just to let you know. tongue.gif

It's ok in Ukraine. And I'm not going to throw flames all the time like airplane.

I thought about this parts:
1 Spark plug
1 Coil
spark plug wire
electric pump (washer motor)
metal gas tank
fuel lines
switches

I can get those parts from domestic cars, it would be 15 bux for all parts.

Can I use washer motor as a fuel pump?

as long as the pump will push gas through it it should work. you also can kinda control the flame with different kinds of nozzles that you will use to shot the gas into the pipe. you will want about 2 inches of space between the spark plug and nozzle. i will go take a pic of my friends later. you can also control the flame with how much and how fast the fuel is pumped. if you need anymore info post it. i keep watching this forum. i will work on an instruction guide for this but that will most likely have to wait till this weekend

If I use washer motor as a fuel pump, should I use solenoid to block fuel line when not used?

How to make nozzle or where to get it?

How many sparks should be?
So when I press button washer motor starts to pump fuel to nozzle and spark plug will ignite fuel. I think during I press the button there should be few sparks.
