Default erebuni mirror replacements

Last night during a wicked ice/snow storm, someone took out my passenger side mirror. I was at a stopped at a light in the left lane of a 2 lane road last night, and I see headlights spinning out of control, and fortunately, he stops before hitting me. BUT THEN... out of nowhere, a white sedan slides in between the left and right lane and takes out my passenger side mirror. We pull over, and check things out. Somehow, he manages to ONLY hit my mirror, and nothing else (phew). It was a clean break on the folding hinge, not even a scratch on the housing... So he suggests that he just pay the damage, and I'm fine with that, so I get his info and plate number and stuff.

I took the car to the dealer to get that hinge replaced, and they tell me they have to replace the whole mirror. $278 plus an hour of labor at $65 p/h. Yeouch.

gotta love the bungee.

Now to the Erebuni option.
I love these mirrors, not carbon fiber.

or these

and was wondering how the fit was (if anyone tried them... Tibbychick, I read you were thinking about it). They're about $220 for the pair, so I have no reason NOT to try... I just didn't know if it would be more trouble than it's worth.

I searched, and didn't find the answer to my question... hence the new topic.

Any other suggestions for mirrors would be greatly appreciated too.
(I have power mirrors)

Havent tried the erebuni's yet. I would iamge that the fitment would be better than the arospeed M3 style mirrors that I had. As far as I know though, the mirror itself is universal, but the bracket that blots it to the car is made specifically for the car. I would look into their return policy just in case they dont fit so you can return them.
