Ive had my car for almost two months now and am just realizing how many scratches/ fading spots/ chipped spots there are on the paint. The thing is, none of it is on the actual body. Every paint imperfection is on the side mirrors, door handles, sun roof, fin, and wing. Now i'm wary of painting using OEM colors for fear of seeing the difference of 8 years of fading between the new stuff and the body paint. I was wondering if it would look decent to paint the forementioned parts black along with the stock rims, and also I have a black 25% tint all around. Oh yeah, my tib is silver and I'm hoping to get a CF hood at one point

Go to a paint shop and ask for a color matched paint.

I'll definitely consider that, but I think I might do the black paint idea first and see how it turns out. If it's bad I'll just sand and start over

look into getting a good orbital buffer and learning how to detail your car. It might take the swirls and minor scratches out with a few hours of elbow grease.

It's not like that. It's just most of the paint on the mirrors and handles is gone LOL. I see the plastic from the part itself. Or watever factory base coat was put down

the paint is also gone around the side mirrors on my car as well. its very thin paint, as if they were spray coated then placed on the car.

I've got 2 spots on my roof thta are completely gone, like my washer nozzles were squirting paint thinner.

Kinda pisses me off, but good thing I plan on having the entire car repainted and dents taken out next year.

Yah bull that seems to be the factory process lol. I just wanna fix it. the whole exterior of my car is silver and the whole interior is black. I'm just trying to make it flow a little better.

You could get away with the black mirrors because alot of tibs came with black.I wouldn't do the door handles though.

As far as wheels go there are alot of colors to choose from in wheel paint so you have options if you weren't sure about the black.

Thanks. So I should get a color match for the door handles? Wat about fin, tail, and sun roof?
