They are glued on just like the headlights and the taillights. heat and being VERY careful are the only ways to get the lenses off. Unlike all the other lenses on the Tib, the corners are THE most fragile and likely to crack when you attempt to remove them. Trust me, I know...

Unfortunately, 8 out of 10 times you'll scratch up the chrome on the reflector or not get all of the yellow out. Just buy some mang.

Okay, recommendation for buying some is all I need. Thanks smile.gif

EDIT: But if I wanted the lens off I'd have to stick everything in my pics into the oven?

EDIT: Where's a good place to get clear corners? And why are their two bulbs in the clear corners on importshark? http://www.importshark.com/store/lighting.htm#corners

I took apart my old civic healights and made them black. A heat gun is best.

I got my clears off of Ebay about 4 years ago before there was a big demand.. I think I payed 35 bucks for them... as for heating them up, I stuck everything but the lamp, holder, and the rubber drain tube in the oven and let it sit at about 200 degrees until it started to smell...

If you wanted to give them a shot take all the rubber pieces and little things that CAN come off before you throw them in the oven. This way you heat up less parts.

As for buying them. Ebay is cheapest but somewhat unreliable. www.kspec.com will be the best, especially with their track record for shipping down to your area.

Are the clear corners on importshark different from the ones on kspec? It looks like the lining of the importshark ones are black but I can't really tell
