Default Can constant clay baring hurt your paint?

I clay my car once every 3 or 4 months and I was wondering if that is too much. Will claying it that much do anything bad to the clear coat or underlying paint?

For the most part, you can clay as often as you like as claying is non-abrasive to the finish. Depending on the exposure your car gets will determine how often you need it. I've seen some do their cars monthly and some yearly with no damage to the clearcoat.
