1157 is the front turn signal and 1158 is rear on a 2000 tib right?

sylvania says 1156 for rear and 2357 for front.... although i heard front was 1157 or something like that.... sharkracing says 1157... which one is correct?

 

2357 fits 1157 I'm pretty sure, but 2357 has higher intensity. Someone correct me if I'm wrong wink1.gif

 

2357 does work for 1157 I can tell you that as a fact, however intensity I have no idea

 

The stock bulbs are 2357's.


1157's usually have higher wattages available. And yes, they do work fine. I have 1157 amber leds in my front turns, had them for over a year.

Just make sure you use the proper bulbs. Don't go higher in wattage. Or else:



I didn't do that. The previous owner decided higher wattage 1157s must be better than the stock 2357s. Wonderful. The bulb could not even be removed without a heat gun.

 

for the rear it's 2 1156 into each taillight and 1 1157.

 

really it wouldnt come out? damn, what should i do? the blue bulbs dont come in 2357, only in 1157... should i risk it?
