I saw an XG at the shop the other day, got to have a look at the engine and something struck me!

Look closely at the struts. There are OEM strut brackets fitted on there. I'm thinking they will fit on our cars, especially for those participating the Airram Strut Bar GB which the bars came without brackets.

Anyhow, interesting, and anyone confirm if they fit? It could be a good discovery and a quick OEM solution.

i know for a fact that the GK springs are exactally the same size as the OEM RD springs. It's possible that they kept the front suspension and just adjusted spring rate for a heavier car. Hyundai reuses alot of different parts even on KIA vehicles. The MAF sensor on some KIA vehicles is just rebranded KIA and sent on it's way.

I don't see why the upper strut assembly would be any different. It's worth a shot of checking out. You should have grabbed your strut tower bar and checked it out. It looks the same, but the rotation and distance between struts may be slightly different.

It looks like they're turned (rotated) a little from our cars. Just my two cents.

they are flimsy! Actually i saw them in person, not too bad, but worth $3 each to do the job! haha.

I'll order them and see. If it fits it's better than nothing, especially for the airram bars.
