Default xd cam, underdrive pulley ???

how much have the xd cams and pulleys been dyno'd for? i'm just curious. will the xd cam help a lot or a little with a turbo? i plan on piecing a kit together within a year, and i might buy the cam if it's worth it.

the XD cam only helps on a fully modified intake system. ie, its best with CAI BBTB and BIM. You'll probably see a couple WHP with it.

The XD cam is the most agressive cam you can go with with a turbo. Anything more agressive would be dangerous on the valves and springs.

The underdrive pulley (with alot of controversy) will free you some HP in the lowend.

As far as i know, nobody's done a before and after for either of these. Actually i think BV1(correct me if i'm wrong) did do a dyno on the XD cam.

I've done a butt dyno on the UR pulley and there is a noticable difference in first gear. It was my first real mod and my wheels came loose a lot easier with it. So to me, that was proof enough. wink

How much came out your wallet for the pulley to get the noticable butt dyno? I've seen sets sold on www.nopionline.com for around $300.00 including water pump/powersteering/crank pulley i believe.
