x3 question
I personally separated an alpha trans from a 2.0 beta and watched bearings fall out of the bell-housing. What bearings you ask? The output-shaft shot through the case.

I was just woundering only because i know they do alot better on boost then a 2.0 with stock internals there one now in pr that goes 10s 11s on 14psi and i just was woundering should i just run an elantra trans or accent. Or tib.. Not sure
If you are going to boost a light weight car, id say get an XD trans. They are normally cheap and they have a bit longer gearing. It might help that little boosted thing out to not blow through 1st so fast.
Or do what Juanra said but be prepared to switch other stuff out like the hydraulic system, etc. Should be easy stuff if you can swap a mitz trans onto a beta.
