Well after installing my VHR clutch setup this past weekend and changing the Tranny oil the car is grabbing 2nd gear bad. What I mean is that at a high RPM 1st to 2nd shift you have to wait almost a second before pulling into 2nd or it grinds all to hell. I have tried adjusting the linkage cable and that didnt help. The only difference between before I changed the clutch is obviously the clutch but also I was using Lucas stabilizer in the tranny before and did not use it this time. Could that make this big of an affect? I know our trannies have week syncros so could the tranny just be going out on me?

that sucks, sound like syncro's are going... that what mine did in 3rd at first, then it eventually just started grinding all the time.

Thats what I thought it was. Too bad no one makes new syncros for us since Hyundai's ones are pretty much crap.

The oil stabilizer does work wonders... my GSX was rather moody with synchros (Just got them replaced a few months ago) and a tranny flush and some stabilizer eradicated the problem for many a high RPM shift. Eventually I wore them down a little too much though.
