Just noticed that my left cooling fan doesn't run.. this one is the A/C Fan. Wierd thing is that the right fan(cools the engine) is working fine but.... it also acts as a A/C fan. I started my engine cold and turned on my A/C and the Right one was spinning .. the left one never moved. thank goodness i still get cold air while at a stop sign.

What I think it might had happened is that when I first bought the car, i helped a person on the side of the road who needed a jump start. I was trying to find my flashlight and he had alright got the battery cables out... just as i walked towards him he put the Connectors on the wrong terminals. the battery sparked like crazy, my engine studdered a bit, the head lights went dim and there was a big squeaking sound.. like a whole bunch of Mice. so maybe that overloaded and cooked the motor possible? maybe a wire is melted? I'm not good with electrical stuff.. help!!

Love,
JOhn

lmao.gif Flashback to Random's post about gerbils and lil screws up their asses making the headlights work. lmao.gif Hopefully I'm not the only one who remembers, cause I'll seem strange.

But yea, you just got to work up the guts to mess with the wiring and make sure you didn't blow a fuse, or a wire didn't get cut. I hate wiring myself, and I know how ya feel.

I would try to wire the fan directly to a hot and ground... see if it spins. It could either be a blown motor or a fuse, or a plug issue. If wiring it directly to the battery doesn't work, replace the fan.

The battery thing happened to me as well. im pretty sure one of your fuses burned out and it used the normal engine cooling fan as an alternate. Check your fuses.
