ok, i shall discribe this the best i can, i thought it was a loose belt but the noise isn't coming from anywhere near the belts :|

Symptoms:

Sounds like : belt squeel but a little clattery, squeel volume is proportional to the revs of the car IE car stationary no squeel, car at high speed in neutral = no squeel, car at high speed with high revs = squeel

Rev the car - on the downstroke you can detect a slight squeel, but the second you take your foot off the accelator the squeel comes to a peak. So its at its loudest around 1 second after you take the pressure off the accelerator and the car is still @ high revs.

Location = near throttle butterfly, where the throttle cable joins the butterfly, around that area. Sound could be coming from the silver block to the left of the throttle butterfly, (the block that has ECI logo on it)

If pics are needed for location, ill take some tonite

Any ideas?

How does the car run, otherwise? Are there any check engine lights or leaks?

Haha, ancient. But it sounds like a poor description of a vacuum leak though.
