My used oil container is starting to get full so I need to find some place to take it. Can I take it to any mechanic or do I have to take it some place specific?

My mechanic recycles it, so I take it there. There are also recycling facilities that I could take them.

I do this.

On the topic of oil containment, I had to search online to find a good one. The round pans always leaked out the drain side, didn't have enough capacity, and not enough catch surface. (primarily for my truck when I had it) I found this one online and love it!!!! I can do 3 changes before having to drain it. Another great feature is that it can stand up during storage and not take up so much floor space.
