On the beta1
The Idle air bypass motor is the cylinder connected to the intake elbow and the back of the Intake manifold. Should be about 3" around, and about 5" long.
On the Beta2
The Idle Air Bypass motor is the black plastic device attached to the forward side of the intake manifold near the throttle body. It's about 3" by 3" by 2"
They rarely go bad, usually it's the wiring to them that goes bad.
They are $153 new from www.stcharlesauto.com, but I've got a spare from a beta1 that I can sell ya cheaper.

lol i still dont have the nitrous going yet...this is after the nitrous thing...i figure im gunna get the car running right again before i fiddle iwth the nitrous
