id love to go turbo but once again money! i would want a good kit and thats 3000+ which i dont have.
ill just buy parts for n/a for now and settle with that.
also i have 100000 miles. really dont want to turbo.
i hope to get a lower milage rd2 in a few years. swap all my parts that i can use and then go turbo
as for nitrous. little worried about install and having that in my car

Power Gains would be my issue. The most power gains our cars can achieve N/A would be less than 200whp probally closer to 180whp. What would be the point when we can achieve double that with a turbo. However, i am not including Nitrous, because those gains are not constant.

Question One: I've already got the GSX and Corvette for speed, but the Tib is just too slow for any normal person to drive it stock. So I was looking for something more near 160whp, and the best way to do that was N/A since a low budget turbo setup would cause me a few things:

1. Driving hours to tune it.
2. Worse gas mileage (my driving already makes it worse)

Question Two: Cost mainly, and my parents not wanting me to modify a third car. They can be soo aggrivating. tongue.gif I had to weasel my way into getting my I/E. Not being dyno-proven also annoys me, coming from a Mitsubishi family where everything is tested, re-tested, and then re-re-tested on a dyno. Then there aren't any before/after for any parts, except for AEM's.

Question Three: I love nitrous. But that goes back to the parents again, and not wanting my daily driver to be illegal here in Virginia. I've already lied to them and told them my GSX is putting out somewhere around 250hp at 12PSI, when its double that. wink1.gif

Question Four: Money and time. Care to give me a few thousand and a diamond-studded watch? B)

Having nitrous in the car is illegal. Even the solenoids can't be connected and running, not just the main line. Basically everything has to be disconnected from everything.

If you get technical, a fair amount of the mods we do are illegal, even some N/A ones. Most cops let it slide, some don't.

I'm going n/a because I know there is a poss. to get a lot of balls out of it. I just started modding again so most of my prob. is money.[since i wrecked the Tib and a yamaha r6 all in 1 year] Emissions are also a large part of my staying n/a.

I will consider nitrous when I an done my n/a tune.

After all the bolt ons I am going to pick up a used motor and rebuild that. Large port and polish oversized valves lumpy cams! 30 over high compression pistons maybe a custom stroke.

For now I would like some more bolt ons like a bbtb!

I don't care about dyno proof I have a guy making me custom gt headers! I need parts Ahhhhhhhhhhh.
