So I wen't to pull out of Tim Hortons parking lot on my way to a meet(far from home with only a leatherman multitool) when putting her in reverse, SNAP!, now no shifty Rside short)..So I got her apart with my tool, walked to Piercies(home builders) bought a screw extractor ,drill bit,and similar sized bolt., used a drill off the shelf LOL,extracted the broken piece from the shifter base, reused the adj.nut ,and wrapped a shitload of electrical tape over the bolt head to simulate the pivot ball LOL..anyway it worked, and off I went for less than $20....So I may just have to find a larger headed bolt to grind to a ball ,If I Cannot find one, What is this part called??

Dunno, but this might help you out...
When REDZMAN sold me my B&M shifter, it had no ball/screw on the bottom. I cut the one from my stock shifter. I found a bolt that would go into the hole and i cut the head off of that. Then I had a buddy of mine weld it together. It's held 6 months now.
Just in case you can't find what you're looking for.
