I just can't remember if there's supposed to be a washer under the flange nut which holds the release lever in place. My release lever has about 1/32" of play up and down. I'm trying to figure out if it's because I'm missing a washer or not. I wouldn't want to put anything there to pull the forks upwards if it's not supposed to be that way.

So yeah, is there supposed to be a washer under the flange nut on top of the lever which moves the transmission release forks?
