Right, but with the clutch thing that's in the VVT's you can't change the timing on them.

It's hard to say... the idle took on a deeper tone and my Butt Dyno says there is more power.. but I also installed the Unorthox Racing underdrive pulley at the same time.. However, I can tell you that the Power Band did change.. before I peaked about about 4700 or so.. Now it peaks right at 5000,

Okay here is the deal with the VVT and the cams since the topic has seemd to stray.
The Cams are 270 degree cam shafts that are used w/turbo apps, and the cams were not designed to fit with the VVT so they just disable it, but NOW they have designed new ones to work

hmm, so if they did tune this vvt thing into something more impressive does anyone think that it will be as easy as putting the head on your beta and you will have vvt. kinda like have a b18c1 ls motor and but a b16 or gsr head on it and it is converted into a ls vtech. that would be great if this vvt thing ever became like vtech one day.
