first I bought the JSpeed Underdrive Crank Pulley(from Kspec), I went to install the new pulley, but sence they do not include belts with the order or do they even know the size of the belts that we might need to complete the install(I think they should know the size sence they do sell the pulley just my thought though) but anyway did anyone run into the problem installing the Crank Pulley, I went back to autozone an Orieillys(sp) to many damn times to get different size belts none which worked an the size I needed was like half an inch shorter they dont carry so i was forced to install my stock pulley back on. Am I going to have to buy water pulley an power pulley to fully install everything. and If so what size belts am I going to need then?

If I have to repost this again no problem just pissed off thats all.

Just need Help

I drive a 2000 Hyundai Elantra 2.0 DOHC, didnt know If that would help.

Autozone should have the belt. Maybe they just didn't have it in stock.

the belts you will need are gonna have to be 2 inches shorter than oem. (i believe 30.5 and 32.5 ) if you do a search you may find what you are lookin for.... but im sure they are 2 inches shorter

I did do 2 inches short an 1 inch shorter they both didnt work, autozone did cary the belts just not an in a half inch size

did you adjust the tension on the belts?? you should be able to slide the alternator forward slightly.

ok i need to clear up this topic an rewrite this post.

here it goes

I used the stock belt for running the ALT, an Power Steering. but I need to find out the size belt I need to run the A/C or are you guys running no A/C. we tryed going 2inches shorter but didnt work we ended up needing a half an inch short an which they do not make.

so if anyone could find out which size belt they are running on their A/C

sorry about the bad post

The tensioner should be able to compensate for 1/2" either way. If the stock one is too big, then get 1" shorter and use the tensioner.

I have the same pulley, and was wondering where to get the correct belts. There is no Autozone in Norway, so would anyone be interested in shipping me the correct belts for the underdrive pulley?

Finally got the right belt an the JSpeed Underdrive Pulley installed

If you only bought the JSpeed Underdrive Pulley, not the set then you will need these's

Belts:
for the Underdrive/ A/C Pulley You will need Poly-V 4040315(I got this belt from AutoZone for 15.00 bucks)
Now for the Underdrive/ ALT/WP Pulley you will need Micro-V K040335(I got this belt from Oreilly AutoParts for 12.00 bucks)
or for the Underdrive/ ALT/WP Pulley you can just use the stock A/C Belt to go around Crank/ALT/WP

When I buy the other to Pulley's Ill Update again an let you Know what sizes belts you will need for that.
