A friend bougth a pulley for his GK 1.6 but it only fits the 2.0 engine...

He wants to sell it but I don't know if GK's and RD2's pulleys are the same...will it fit on my 2.0 RD2??

It's from OBX...I found a site where they sell them but they put the same picture for GK's and RD's so it doesn't help much...

Well if it says for 2.0 it should fit. You will need new belts to run this.

Did you notice any difference in performance with the pulleys?
You also have water and power pulley?

I ran the unorthodox underdrive pulley for years. Only negative I noticed was that when idling, the headlights would dim down quite a bit. Soon as the revs climbed above 1000rpms again, they were as bright as normal.

not really, it is just a matter of your alternator not putting out enough juice at those low engine speeds. I just recommend not sitting with your car idling for long periods of time with the headlights on.

If you like a serious sound system, I would also recommend NOT putting the underdrive pulley on for the same reason. Your alternator needs to spin at at least a certain RPM (not sure what speed) before it starts to produce enough power to take over for the battery
