New deal people. Dads set on me selling my 97 rd tib 2.0 to get a 03 gk tib GT V6. Prob is that its frikin auto! I HATE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION! How much do you all think the manual tranny would be and how hard would the swap be for me and my dad to do? also is the 03 v6 a 2.7 or 2.5?

Is he paying for it and doing all the work? I'd estimate $1k to do the swap. Although, I think it'd be a lot easier to just buy a car that is already manual, but if he instists, pays, and does all the work - who are you to complain? lol

OMFG...go to NewTiburon.com. I'm sure they can flam...err...explain it better than we can.

The GK Tibs are 2.7L V6s...a transmission swap would be out of the question...because your car is rather new. So the parts are going to be a lot more than just $1k. A lot of work goes into swapping it from auto to manual.
