been traveling up mountains going avg speed of 45 mph or so, like the transmission dosent slip, the fluid was changed about 3 days ago, going an avg of 8 miles going up this hill
engine speed decreasing around 40 mph
i dont know weather its the throttle, a sensor, or what, but compression goes down,

For the benefit of the doubt and the fact that you are fairly new, you may need to shift to a lower gear or 2 when going up a steep hill. Im just throwing it out there. People have to start someplace driving a stick.

nah man, as you know pennsylvania has has alot of hills

the car loses all power in 4th gear going up long steep hills and stays at the same speed with the pedal to the floor
downshifting dosent seem to work, yeah thats good for gaining momentum, but i should be able tpo push it all the way to 80!
or maybe i need a physics class?

40mph in 4th gear is pretty low rpms, drive it in 3rd or even 2nd gear, you should be at like 3000+ rpm going up on hills..

^x2 The powerband is in the 3-4k range... if you need power, put the gearshift wherever it needs to be to make the engine spin that fast.
