So the other day i was driving home from getting a haircut and when i'd shift it wouldnt go into gear right away and would just rev then go into gear and i smelt something. So when i got home i went to open the hood and i saw a bunch of fluid on the ground so they towed the car tot he dealership and they said today that a bearing inside of the transmission broke and cracked the transmission so they're replacing it. Should have the car back by wednesday the latest. : no fun

LOL, yeah. Mine was about 3,000....took me by surprise and didn't have any other option but to have them fix it because I needed it back asap because I had no other form of transport.

I had a similar problem with my tranny when the car hit 30,000. Went to go out to work and found a puddle of fluid under the car. Unlike yours, mine was the tranny machining itself from the inside out and all the aluminum shavings had eaten the input shaft seal and were leaking out through the bellhousing
