Default TPS Voltage

I was wondering if at any time, is it crucial to recalibrate the voltage that goes to the TPS sensor? The TPS is a sensor on the throttle body that tells the ECU where the throttle is positioned. From what I have heard from some people, over time the TPS goes out of calibration and your car's performance suffers greatly for it. Has anyone ever had to recalibrate is on their car and how did you do it?

No you can't that i know of. There is and always will be 5v at the sensor's feed on traditional setups. You can always check the voltage sweep with a multi meter if your concerned (.5v-4.5v).

It's possible that electronic throttle system may need calibration after stuffing a new one in.
