Default Suggestions needed..

Well guys i have a terrible problem.I cant figure out what intake is good for my tib.
1)I cant fit mhp, random´s special or kore cai cause in the front left wheels fender there´s sth like a small bottle.
2)Speedstate cai is only for american tibbies
(European tibs dont have knock sensors etc only the iat sensor.)
3)The only solution is to fit a filter directly to the mafs but it will suck bloody warm air(it will be w.a.i and not cai)
4)So i am totally confused. Please give me opinions and some photos of what to do...

PS:Air intakes are a P.I.T.A.!! sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif

Use this method and rather than tucking it into the fenderwell via the bottom, route it either down to below the radiator like the AOS unit, or tuck in behind the battery, and down into the fenderwell via the hole behind the battery.

Random. I have the parts to make my CAI comming. I know the issues with dunking and snow. But I wos wondering about rain. I plan on running mine to right behind the bumper.
On the 2k3 with foglights after you rip out the stock unit there is a perfect spot for the cai. My question I guess is when it rains (not flooding) should I change to a short ram or will just rain not make it into the filter.

The average cotton gauze filter is coated in oil. The oil will repel the majority of the water. the tiny bit of water that makes it into the filter will not make it into the combustion chamber unless someone fires a fire hose style jet of water into your fog light hole.

the work around is to route it like the stock intake. Down the hole next to the battery, then just mount the filter just inside the fenderwell up near the "roof" of the fenderwell. It still has access to all that cold air, and it stays nice and dry.

My CAI runs down to under the rad and it seems to work well. I can't use some of the CAI's without modifing them either. Eventually I want to have mine made into mandrel bent steel.
