Straight piped Tibs

Just wondering, is there anyone running straight pipes on their Tibs? How loud is it?

having run open header on my car before let me tell you first hand how much it sucks.

sounds like sh*t. complete sh*t. id rather listen to a wankel motor that's how bad it is.

If the decibel level of having no muffler doesnt annoy you (and people around you and cops) then the drone inside the car will drive you up a wall.

I had a 3" cherry bomb style muffler under the seat with a turbo. Sucked, but got compliments anyways. Turbo helps keep the noise down.

I drove my for much longer than I should admit with everything from the resonator back deleted (by a speed bump.)

It wasn't all that annoying for me and people often assumed I had swaped the motor just by the sound. That said I don't imagine my neighbors were all that impressed.

Here's a quick video I took of my side exit (no muffler, 3" off the turbo) on two step years ago.

I love driving the car around with this but you definitely need ear plugs for any extended trips lol.

If I ever get the full race manifold and larger turbo I'm planning on purchasing (at some point), I'm going to do 4" turbo back no muffler (yes I know it's overkill).

It's loud! They will know that's you coming home or when you start it early in the morning they will "love" you even more :D

In the city it's fun, but if you plan any long trips with it ... sometimes it's painful! I will put some sound deadening very soon, cause my Coupe is without back seats and it's even louder than normal :)

Here is a short video Exhaust
