Hey guys! I have a question about the SSA CAT. I currently have the SSA 4-2-1 (which are crap by the way) and a MBRP catback. My current sensor locations are on the 4th header pipe and on the midpipe of the catback after the CAT. Will the SSA CAT/Test Pipe cause a CEL to get thrown?

More than likely since the SSA CAT is not a CAT. It is a straight pipe. You can always fix it with a O2 simulator though.

I have tried the casper simulator without any luck. Are there any out there that are known to work on our cars?

You are better off selling that and getting a high flow cat, it will eliminate the issues you are having.

...p.s. Why don't you like your header?

Well I purchased the header about 3-4 months ago (maybe more not sure). The stainless steel has begun to surface rust even with constant cleaning. I have completly sanded the POS down and painted it with Dupli-Color high temp ceramic paint. Looks alot better now. Not to mention the install was horrible. The head bolt holes were not the correct size. Had to widden them. Where the header and the center pipe (before cat) meet there has been a constant rattle against the trany support. I have grinded the flange down to about an 1/8th inch on the top and it still rattles. I was looking at his CAT simply for the fact that it is mostly bolt on and I wouldn't have to take it somewhere for the flanges and install.

Yes I do. But aslong as you have an OBD2 compliant car they only plug it in. No physical check. However, if the cel light is on you immediatly fail.
